Screenwriting: The Sequence Approach
$16.76 The great challenge in writing a feature-length screenplay is sustaining audience involvement from page one through 120. Patrick Creed

Creed's song, Higher, reads like a prayer from someone who craves the Kingdom of God. These lyrics are from the heart of someone who has tasted the goodness of God and yet must continue to live in this fallen world.
Chorus:
"Can you take me higher? To the place where blind men see Can you take me higher? To the place with golden streets "
Refrain:
"Up high I feel I'm alive for the first time I'm up high enough hard to take these dreams and make them mine "
God's people are waiting for something that has not yet arrived, and yet also are experiencing heaven right now. The fullness of God's Presence is something much more real than a dream and yet, for the sake of expression, this is a wonderful how a combination of God's world and yet also "another world". God allows his people to escape the futility of the death that rules over the land, but we still have to live in the land of much dictated by God. We can live in peace, however, knowing that the purpose of our daily lives is based on the meaning eternal cause of Christ.
There is a new thirst and hunger that God instills in His people, who alone can satisfy. It's a blessing, hunger compensation consciousness. It is the rightest, richest kind of hunger there.
Of course, the fact that Creed makes this song hundreds of times against all types of public is fantastic. Anyone who makes truth available in this subtle, intelligent, honest, God is a spiritual genius.
I love the spirit of Search Scott Stapp (I think he wrote most of Creed's lyrics). This spirit is evident in the way that fulfills his passion as well is gained fame around the world and yet can not help overflowing with God's truth. It was strategic to avoid being labeled as "Christian," he knew this would be a fundamentally religious connotation and therefore detrimental to any genuine, spiritual progress. This can only have hampered their ability to act in the mainstream music scene.
