Paul B. Pedersen

I know it's contrary to common sense, but have you ever wondered if you might be able to deepen their communication with God through Bible reading LESS?

Christians are taught that the Bible is the inspired word of God. For them, the Bible becomes the last word on most issues. Teaching persistent if you want to know God is doing through the Bible.

Many believe that all communications should be compared to holy scripture – and accepted if and only if it is consistent with the written word of God.

There is much logic in that approach and appears to be safe. It has been the focus of mainstream Christianity for hundreds of years. During the time that the churches have divided multiple times, the new ones have been developed and today we have over 30,000 names around the world who call themselves "Christians." (Or so I read – I have not counted, but I know that the number is quite large.)

As I do not already subscribe to the idea that communication should be compared to holy Scripture. Actually, if you spend much time reading your Bible will find that God spoke very personally to the people and messages were never the same. These people in the Bible is a book to compare with the message. That had to rely on something is called faith.

Now I will say here that may offend some people, but is the truth as I see it. The systems of the Christian religion is down so that faith is not necessary. All that is exposed as a mathematical formula. All you have to do is A + B and C and is multiplied by gain salvation. Everything seems biblical and spiritual and safe – and to some extent.

The problem is that such systems to eliminate any real need for a deep spiritual connection to God and leave many People feel an unsatisfied desire for something more. Often these people feel locked into their religion and fear to seek God out that way. So I still feel unsatisfied, wondering if something is wrong with them and hope that one day everything will be fine – just trust the formula – right?

I even have heard about how terrible it would be if the government were to take Bibles away. Apparently this has happened in some forms of government.

Let's be clear. His relationship with God is not the Bible or the church office. If you do not have a relationship with God.

I would say to you – Put down your Bible and communicate with God! Try it! Rather than read what God said to Paul or David or Marta, to discover what God tells you! We as Christians living in this state of deprivation of faith that we believe we have to take what God said to someone a couple thousand years and apply to us today? Do we really believe that God can speak to us today?

The answer to that question is largely yes. We lived so far from God for so long that very few people who really believe that God really speaks to us today. I am here to tell them that God will speak to you as He spoke to Isaiah, Mary, and yes, even Jesus.

You do not need any paraphernalia. Not even a Bible. Not even have to be a member of a church.

There are some requirements – and if they are found in the Bible. You see that the Bible is an amazing resource. I encourage to study and read. But do not confuse that for a relationship with God.

Scripture indicates that humility of spirit and purity of heart will move you closer to God. Another is the key thing. It's quiet. When we become and hope in the Lord, we will be rewarded. Scripture promises that God rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Such we could say that diligence is a key. It is a deliberate way of life – living with the intention of staying close to God, know God, have a relationship communicate with God and with God. Not just occasionally but constantly.

With perseverance, diligence and experience a deep stillness that communication with God.

If you are diligent in your quest for deeper connection to God you will enjoy a mini-course I have created – “7 Mistakes That Prevent Effective Communication With God”.
