Finally, a about and their effects on us based on recent science.

This is the piece to a period of five series TV of the same name created in conjunction with Discovery Health. The author, Jill Fullerton-Smith is an award winning filmmaker and producer of science programs for the BBC, spent 2 years making the series. She and her team worked with more than 50 nutritionists, doctors and other experts from more than 20 universities, research centers and hospitals in the United Kingdom, the USA and Denmark.

Questions like "why is my best friend eating like a horse and looks like a gazelle?, Do carrots really help view?, can actually affect libido? "are answered and the responses tested there before his eyes.

Why so much confusion in the theme of ? Because there is so much conflicting information and many of us can not seem to make sense of it. As Ms Fullerton-Smith writes in the introduction, "Understanding the complex investigation can be difficult to go, experts agree, journalists speculate, and old myths die hard. It seems that the more we know more we have to worry, and less sure we are of the truth. "I say" Amen "to that.

Dr. Mehmet Oz, who wrote striker added this: "If the were nothing more than fuel, consuming a simple, tasteless liquid and be on our way, as complete until our cars with gasoline to keep us on the road. But nothing is simple . Even most of the basic signals that tell us that they are hungry or confused complete by a host of psychological and physiological triggers that often make it difficult to identify when to eat and, most significantly for most of us, when we have to stop eating. "This statement could only have some of you to sing the hallelujah chorus.

The Truth About is written as a series of "How Tos". How to: be healthy, be thin, feed children, be sexy, be the best, and staying young and beautiful. To support its ideas using great photos, sidebars, and "the best advice." These are small wear jewelry that does not want to exclude in their new way of eating.

During his two years of experimentation they managed to demonstrate that it can lower cholesterol and blood pressure without drugs, (no surprise), calcium has chops in the category of weight loss, and that most people do not need to drink two liters of water a day to stay hydrated and health. Enemies of Water: Rejoice!

Think of this as evidence that the weapons "foods are powerful in our fight to stay healthy," as Dr. Oz. This is not a diet , but can be the basis of a new way of eating for weight loss or weight gain for that matter. You will learn why certain foods produce certain results in some and not others. The writing is engaging and the science is easy to follow.

Pick up this and I swear I do not want to quit. Much more than fun and encouraged even this avid Foodie look twice what's on my plate.
