Could someone please help me on a question about the book Fat Boy Swim by Catherine Forde?
I have to choose a character (I chose the character Main Jimmy) and I have to write an analysis of about 200 words about it. Could someone please give me some points about it please. I have said a lot, but I just need to be sure. Thanks
this is the best I can find for you As Bobbie brands in a single Summer Robert Lipsyte fat (1977), Obese 14-year-old Jim Kelly feels she is "suffocating under its own weight sticky" and his schoolmates' dramatic No intimidation help. Their confidence comes only from his extraordinary skills in the kitchen, which is kept secret from everyone except his family. Then, a new and aggressive football coach, Private Jim who names GI Joe, Jim badgers get control of their health. Finally he repents, Jim asks Joe to teach him to swim, and his surprising ability in the pool and his growing friendship with Joe reveal startling family secrets. Forde Scottish author tells a gripping story about the discovery and the exciting transformation of the sport can bring. Writing in a clipped, Scots language alive, Forde describes in graphic intensity of the brutal harassment Jim suffers, his own passion, hatred, and loneliness. Some plot coincidences and messages against discrimination are a bit heavy hand, but the ending is complicated satisfactorily realistic, despite their talent pool and a newly physical thin, Jim has further complicated, unresolved issues about who wants to be.

When it comes to product design, there can be little doubt that plastic is the only time greatest invention that has helped thousands of millions of items accessible and easily accessible to all.
Plastic, from the Greek word Plastikos mold or form, is the product design by Alexander Parkes and was shown publicly in 1862 the Great International Exhibition in London. This is an organic material made from cellulose that can be heated and molded to any shape, the retention of this new form of refrigeration.
The invention of plastic has opened doors to a multitude of new product designs that would otherwise it would not have been possible, or at best would have been invented yet, but at vastly inflated prices as the plastic it produces.
Plastic is increasingly used in product design over the years with different popularity. Stores were filled to the brim with plastic furniture in the sixties, but some people saw the products, "cheap" as in cheap quality and cheap prices. And that was neglected for a while.
But that is all the beauty of this product design. It's cheap. It is flexible, moldable, resilient and strong. This means that everything from furniture to food and beverage containers, from toys to paintings, from phones to cameras and radios – all have plastic elements.
Plastic can be colored in any way you want to stand out or blend to a natural or completely fabricated.
The invention of the plastic itself has opened the doors to the design product in every area of life. And this in itself brings about another problem. Plastic not only rot. Could release toxic gases burned and overwhelm landfills worldwide.
However, there really is no reason to throw away plastic items in landfills because they can be recycled. The problem arises in trying to encourage people to do the right thinking when products are finished with plastic. Water bottles are a derivative of plastic product design and the current emphasis on health and many people have been taken to carry water bottles and drinking constantly with them regularly.
It seems crazy that they want a healthier body so drinking more water, but care little about their environment to the point where they are very happy to be contaminated by not recycling responsibly. In 2002, the astounding $ 15 billion of plastic water bottles were produced and of these, only 12 percent recycled. This compares with thirty percent of the bottles soft drinks of juice, but is still far away.
It is relatively easy to recycle plastics and can simply be reformed into something else. Check out the blond woman from Texas. One minute was normal, but after some reforms with plastic surgery has become Pamela Anderson. All very well, but what happens after death? In the coming years will be the floor is filled plastic body parts used for implants?
In a note worse, plastic surgery is an area that has barely been touched by the plastic and real name is a bit misleading. Plastic surgeons concentrate on the remodeling of bone, cartilage, muscle and skin products and are confused by the plastic surgeons.
One way or another, have to say plastic is one of the results of product design larger than the world has seen and has opened the floodgates for more possibilities. All we need do is provide it responsibly and that will see us through many more generations.

The assassination of Caesar – 44 BC
The battle of Pharsalia Caesar made lord of Rome. Then he had to deal with Africa, which was in rebellion. A short campaign ended in victory was announced in the Senate and Veni, vidi, vici (I came, I saw, I conquered). He returned to Rome and took the supreme command; the Republic was at an end. Now the chief of the army controlled by the empire.
Unlike Marius and Sulla, Caesar proclaimed an amnesty general for all his former opponents, not one was sentenced to death. He then established a series of popular reforms, but some zealous men who wanted to restore the Republic was waiting in the Forum and stabbed to death.
A Second Triumvirate was formed consisting of Mark Antony (Antony), Lepidus and Octavius, Caesar's heir.
His conquest of Gaul extended the Roman world until the North Sea, and also conducted the first Roman invasion of Britain in 55 BC. The collapse of the triumvirate, however, led to a clash with Pompey and the Senate. Principal his legions across the Rubicon, Caesar began civil war in 49 BC which became the owner of the Roman world.
After assuming control of the government, he began extensive reforms Roman society and government. The large centralized bureaucracy of the Republic and finally was proclaimed "dictator for life" (dictator for life). A group of senators, led by Marcus Junius Brutus, assassinated the dictator on the Ides of March (March 15) in 44 BC, hoping to restore the normal functioning of the Republic. However, the result was another Roman civil war, which finally led to the creation of a permanent autocracy approved by Caesar's heir, Gaius Octavius. In 42 BC, two years after his assassination, the Senate officially sanctified Caesar as one of the Roman deities.
Much of Caesar's life is known for his own comments (Commentarii) in his military campaigns, and other contemporary sources, such as letters and speeches of his political rival Cicero, the historical writings of Sallust, and poetry Catullus. Many more details of his life are recorded by later historians, such as Appian, Suetonius, Plutarch, Cassius Dio and Strabo.
